Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is the main governing body for IMPACT and
has primary responsibility for the scientific direction of the Consortium,
including setting research priorities and identifying opportunities for
collaborative efforts. The committee establishes policies and procedures
that guide the consortium’s work, including dissemination of research findings and data sharing. The Steering Committee
membership consists of the NCI Project Scientist and two representatives (the
PI and one senior investigator) from each Research Center and the Coordinating
Center, who will all have one vote each on the committee. Additional NIH staff
and at least one cancer survivor may participate on the committee as non-voting
advisors. The Steering Committee Chairperson is selected from the voting
membership.
